“Above the floodwaters is G-D’s throne from which his power flows, from which he rules the world. G-D makes his people strong. G-D gives his people peace.” Psalm 29:10-11
“Famine conditions. People will look at one another, see nothing but skin and bones, and shake their heads. This is what sin does.” Ezekiel 4:17
Sin steals your health, even your ability to discern reason from madness. It puts up a wall between you and G-D and makes you an object of ridicule to people. You’re in a constant state of famine; cut off from the Bread and Water of Life.
But G-D, even when you are drowning in a flood of sin, is still on his throne, more powerful than sin and the death that it leads to. He proved that on this day over 2000 years ago. He took my sins and the sins of the entire world upon himself. Removing us from our state of famine into a state of eternal plenty with himself. He redeemed/reclaimed his people; he made us strong by the strength of his might, gave us peace through his salvation.
Today is ‘GOOD’ Friday, indeed! Now go and sin no more! :)
Slight change of blog direction. Not only have I been away for awhile, I also want this blog to express who my Maker has created me to be. Fashion will still be a big part of this blog but there are so many more aspects to the life he has redeemed in me. I hope any followers I have, or may have in the future, will continue to stick it out and do life with me :)
